Nothing special, just a few Marshians sitting on a bank in the marsh.

I was at work in the town centre. I had a sandwich with me.
In a twinkling of a bike ride I was in the marsh with several Marshians.
Under a magnificent Aspen Marshians gathered on a spot few people know exists. A medieval bank perhaps the closest part of the marsh to the town.
It’s only been possible to get to it since the waters went down. A month ago it was impossible in wellies. Now it’s possible in sandals.

We’ve stomped the marsh, swept it clean of rubbish, planted countless trees and dammed the flow of the drains.
It’s time to enjoy the marsh, its hidden virtues, old medieval banks and ancient trees.

I think there’s going to be a few evenings like this.
