Here’s a rough plan for our walk on Sunday.
11 am start. Probably a finish around 3, but several options to skedaddle part way around the walk.
Meet at the Holy Brook Nook garden. The route will be around the edges of the marsh, out along the Holy Brook and the Coley Branch line, Southcote lock, Smallmead Fobney lock Fobney marsh, back to the branch line and back into town.
We’ll stop for breaks as we want, and may deviate to see interesting things.
It’s just about possible with walking boots, I managed it today but there’s a couple of challenging patches of mud.
It is about 5 miles in total.
